A gas explosion at a market in Astana's Baikonyr District on Sh. Zhienkulov Street left three people injured, reports infohub.kz.
According to preliminary information, the blast was caused by depressurization of a 50-liter composite gas cylinder.
"Rescuers found three injured individuals. All were taken to a medical facility for necessary treatment. The blast partially collapsed a ceiling section and a doorway," said the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The circumstances and cause of the incident are being investigated, the ministry added.
