Authorities in Kazakhstan's capital have identified the minors who painted the walls of underground passages, and their parents have been held administratively liable, NUR.KZ reports, citing the Astana akimat, according to infohub.kz.
City officials said the investigation was prompted by information spreading on social media that various obscene inscriptions and drawings had appeared on the walls of underground passages.
As a result, relevant work was carried out in the Baikonyr district, during which the teenagers who committed the acts were identified and taken to a police station.
It is emphasized that administrative measures were taken against the teenagers' parents under the article "Petty Hooliganism."
The Baikonyr district akimat urged local residents to treat public spaces with care, maintain cleanliness, and respect common property.
