The Akimat of Astana has announced the distribution of 300 educational grants from the capital's mayor among higher education institutions in Kazakhstan for 2026-2030, reports the website infohub.kz.
Documents for universities under the state educational order will be accepted from August 5 to 10. To participate in the grant competition, applicants must submit an application to the admissions committee of the respective institution.
The grants have been distributed among the following universities and educational programs:
L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University — transport services.
A. Kusainov Eurasian Humanities Institute — preschool education and upbringing.
International University of Astana — preschool education and upbringing; pedagogy and methods of primary education; training of teachers in physics, mathematics, computer science, Russian language and literature, art and drawing; information technology.
Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University — preschool education and upbringing; pedagogy and methods of primary education; training of teachers in computer science, mathematics, physics; information technology; training of special educators (defectologist, speech therapist, typhlopedagogue, surdopedagogue).
Esil University — training of teachers in computer science and mathematics; information technology.
