Residents and visitors of the capital are advised to take safety precautions, not to drive onto flooded road sections unless absolutely necessary, and to follow official information. Earlier reports indicated that a powerful downpour hit Astana, and city utility services have been placed on an enhanced operational mode. The city administration warned of minor flooding.
