In Astana, a stranger entered someone else's apartment where three young children were sleeping, undressed, lay down next to them, and then beat the father of the family when he returned home. This was reported by infohub.kz.
The incident occurred on September 2. It was recounted by a Threads user under the nickname madina_n__s. According to her, her sister lives in Astana with three young children — aged 6, 4, and 2. At 10:35, the woman left for work, leaving the children asleep at home: her husband had told her he had already left work and would be back soon, so she left the apartment without worry.
At around 11:00, the sister's husband came home and saw someone else's shoes by the door, and the front door handle was broken. At first he thought he had mistaken the apartment or the floor, but after going outside, he realized he was near his own apartment. Opening the door, he found a completely unfamiliar naked man inside, sleeping in the apartment next to the three small children.
The sister's husband first tried to calmly wake the stranger and lead him out of the apartment so the children wouldn't be frightened. However, the man opened his eyes and immediately struck him and began beating him. The sister's husband was forced to defend himself. It is noted that the father of the three children sustained injuries.
"All this happened in front of the children. They were very scared, started crying and calling for help. Neighbors came running at the screams. They took the children to their place and called the police. After that, they called my sister so she could urgently come home," the post says.
As the Astana Police Department told a NUR.KZ correspondent, a report was received about a stranger in the apartment. Police officers arrived at the scene.
"During the investigation, all participants in the incident were identified. It was preliminarily established that the man, in a state of alcohol intoxication, entered the neighboring apartment. There are no injured children. Currently, a pre-trial investigation is underway, and all circumstances of the incident are being established," the statement says.
