In Astana, 86-year-old pensioner Mels Moldagalievich accepted a challenge from 30-year-old fitness trainer Dias Abdrakhmanov and won two out of five exercises. This was reported by the website infohub.kz.

Fitness trainer Dias Abdrakhmanov posted a video of himself competing with an 87-year-old advocate of a healthy lifestyle. They performed five exercises: push-ups with and without weights, pull-ups, and bends with sports equipment. In the end, Dias could not complete two exercises but acknowledged this with admiration.

"We learn from the old school; 87 years is no obstacle for Grandpa Mels to show powerful moves," the trainer wrote in the video description.

The video has garnered over 30,000 likes. In the comments, users joke that because of this man, the retirement age will be raised, and also note that he had more time to prepare. Residents of Astana write that they know the grandfather as a coach and a mathematics teacher.

"Age is just a number for training," "It's not shameful to lose to such a grandfather," "Well done, old man, Dias, respect for organizing such events. Young people, learn: sport is life and beauty," "How to give 10 likes to Mels?" — Kazakhs admire.
