Astana police will switch to an enhanced service regime from July 29 to August 9 due to the international tournament 'Games of the Future 2026' in the capital, reports infohub.kz.

According to the Astana Police Department, the international tournament 'Games of the Future 2026' will take place in the capital from July 29 to August 9. The unique event, combining digital technologies and traditional sports, is expected to bring top athletes from around the world, international delegations, fans, and tourists to Kazakhstan's capital.

In this regard, the Astana Police Department will switch to an enhanced service regime. 'Throughout the international event, police officers will work around the clock in an enhanced mode to maintain public order, ensure citizen safety, and prevent offenses,' police reported.

Additionally, special attention will be paid to road safety. Traffic near competition venues will be regulated. Comprehensive measures will be taken to prevent traffic jams, ensure uninterrupted movement of special vehicles, and maintain pedestrian safety. Temporary traffic restrictions may be introduced on some streets.

Residents and guests of the city are urged to maintain public order, strictly adhere to safety requirements, and understand the lawful demands of police officers.
