During the 'Safe Home' preventive operation in Astana, law enforcement officers inspected over 4,700 residential properties. The operation aimed to prevent criminal offenses, ensure public safety, and strengthen public order in residential areas, according to infohub.kz.

Since the operation began, police have visited around 170 problem properties. The inspections revealed 372 violations of migration legislation.

"Special attention during the operation is given to minors. Police identified 157 teenagers who committed offenses. Work with such cases is carried out as part of a set of measures to prevent offenses among young people," the Astana Police Department said.

To enhance public safety, police also checked owners of civilian weapons. A total of 828 owners were inspected. In 23 cases, violations of weapon storage and registration rules were detected.

"A separate area of inspections concerns compliance with requirements for the sale of alcohol products. Administrative materials have been drawn up against 17 stores that sold alcohol at night. All of them have been sent to court for consideration," the Astana police noted.

Police are also creating additional opportunities for feedback from residents. QR codes have been placed at the entrances of residential buildings, allowing citizens to promptly submit suggestions and requests on safety issues.

The 'Safe Home' preventive operation will continue in Astana until November 5. Police urge residents to maintain public order, not remain indifferent to offenses, and promptly report suspicious situations.

Conducting such inspections in residential areas allows for identifying violations at an early stage and taking necessary measures to improve the safety of the capital's residents.
