Four injured, including child, in Astana tandyr bakery explosion

Four people, including a child, were injured when a gas cylinder exploded at a tandyr bakery on Zhienkulova Street in Astana, infohub.kz reported.

According to updated information, two of the injured were hospitalized at the Multidisciplinary City Hospital No. 1, one was released for home treatment, and another was taken to the Multidisciplinary City Children's Hospital No. 2.

"All victims are receiving necessary medical care," the Astana Health Department said.

The blast caused part of the ceiling and doorway to collapse.
