In Kazakhstan's capital, a female taxi driver faced indecent behavior from a client. The incident occurred in Astana, and the victim decided to speak publicly about what happened, reports infohub.kz.

Asel, who works for a taxi service, described the situation on her Instagram page: a passenger got into the car with friends, but after the trip ended, he refused to leave the vehicle. According to the woman, he demanded a kiss, offered to take her to a bar, and promised to pay for everything. In response to her repeated requests to get out of the car and let her continue working, the man used foul language, pressured her, and prevented her from driving away.

When Asel finally managed to get him back to his friends, the passenger tried to tear out the dashcam. Then came the threats: "If she posts this on social media, I'll smash her face." And to his friends he said: "I'll burn her and her car." The woman wonders where harassment ends and threats begin, and notes that the dashcam footage is saved.

The police department of the Yesil district of Astana responded to the publication. Law enforcement officers reported that an administrative case has been opened against the taxi passenger for petty hooliganism, and the materials have been sent to court for a decision.
