On Sunday, August 9, traffic will be temporarily restricted on several streets in Astana due to a sporting event, reports infohub.kz.
The capital's akimat has warned of traffic restrictions due to the annual running festival Jüregımnıñ Jenımpazy, which is expected to attract about 7,000 participants and guests.
Thus, on August 9, passage will be restricted on the following streets:
from 07:00 to 08:05 — partial restriction of traffic on one lane of Turkestan Street in the direction of the Abu Dhabi Plaza building;
from 07:00 to 07:40 — full closure of Uly Dala Avenue;
from 07:10 to 09:15 — traffic will be restricted on one lane along Akmeshit Street towards the finish at EXPO Square.
"Drivers and pedestrians are advised to plan their routes in advance. We ask for your understanding regarding the large-scale event," the akimat's statement reads.
