A photo shoot featuring a police officer from the Makat district of the Atyrau region has become a source of jokes and amusement for Kazakhstanis. Commenters were tickled not so much by the abandoned setting as by the poses struck by the subject of the photos, reports infohub.kz.

The photo report is part of materials from the operational and preventive campaign "Safe Home." As part of it, district police officers visit unoccupied residential buildings and ensure no offenses are committed there.

Upon seeing one such photo report, in which a district officer stands in the stairwell of a half-ruined building, commenters began joking about his poses.

"He's like an NPC," "Niche content," "Photo shoot," "What are you even doing, bro?", "Rumors say he's still standing there waiting for the owner to come out)," "Maybe he remembered his childhood, lived in this house. Who knows," they wrote in the comments.

However, unfortunately, after the wave of jokes, the original post disappeared from the Instagram account of the district police department. It is worth noting, though, that other photo reports also attract attention with the unusual poses of district officers.

Meanwhile, videos of Romani dances set to Michael Jackson's song Beat It are gaining popularity in Kazakhstan. Participants in the trend perform dances in bright outfits, with women complementing their looks with striking makeup.
