More than 27,000 people took the August UNT, reports infohub.kz.
53% of applicants scored the threshold score. The average score across five subjects was 55 points. The maximum score was 136.
"During the UNT period, 66 violations of the rules were detected. In particular, 30 applicants were denied the opportunity to take the test due to attempts to bring smartphones, cheat sheets, and other prohibited items. For violating rules during the test itself, 36 people were removed from the classrooms. No impostors were identified," the statement said.
After the completion of UNT-2026, video recordings will be analyzed until October 31 of the calendar year. If any use of prohibited items or rule violations is found, the UNT results will be annulled.
"College graduates planning to continue their studies at a university in their specialty on a paid basis can enroll based on an interview. In this case, admission is carried out by university admissions committees," the ministry reported.
