Adel Shaikhitdinova, the lead singer of the popular Bashkir band Ay Yola, has gotten married. Photos from the wedding ceremony appeared on social media, and fans congratulated the artist on starting a family, according to infohub.kz.
The band's official Instagram page posted photos from Adel's marriage registration ceremony. "Today is a special day for our Adel! We wholeheartedly congratulate Adel and Alexey on their marriage registration! May this day mark the beginning of your happy family story. Take care of each other!" the post read.
The bride herself shared the story of her great love on social media, a love that neither distance nor her busy schedule as an artist could hinder. "That evening I came back from tour exhausted and just wanted a quiet dinner. But you watched me all evening and finally mustered the courage to come over. With my schedule, a relationship seemed impossible back then. But I didn't yet know how much would follow that evening: our endless phone calls, your flights during my tours just to see me for a day, your move to Ufa, and a whole life ahead. And today we said 'yes' to each other and became husband and wife. How wonderful that you found the courage to approach me back then! I love you," she wrote.
"I pray to all the gods for your well-being. But you are so genuine in your feelings that I believe they will carry you through without the intervention of higher powers," said the girl's father and founder of Ay Yola, Ruslan Shaikhitdinov.
