From October 10 to 12, Kazakhstan is expected to see heavy precipitation and a sharp warmup to +28°C, while nighttime frosts will retreat. This was reported by Kazhydromet forecasters, according to infohub.kz.
Over the next three days, weather conditions across Kazakhstan's regions will vary. In the center, south, and southeast, dry and clear weather will set in, while rain and snow will fall in the southwest, northwest, and east. Later, precipitation will cover almost all regions.
Particularly heavy rain with snow is forecast for October 10 in the East Kazakhstan region and October 12 in the Turkistan region. In addition, nighttime and morning fogs will descend across the entire republic.

Daytime temperatures are expected to rise almost nationwide:
in the west, up to +22…+27°C;
in the northwest, up to +17…+25°C;
in the north, up to +13…+20°C;
in the center, up to +13…+22°C;
in the east, up to +10…+22°C;
in the south and Kyzylorda region, up to +23…+28°C;
in the Turkistan region, up to +18…+23°C;
in the southeast, up to +17…+25°C.

From October 8 to 10, due to changing cyclones, unstable weather will persist across most of the country. In the northwest, north, and east, rain, wet snow, and ice are expected. At the same time, in the west and south, the weather will be sunny and without precipitation.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that September 2026 in Kazakhstan was the warmest since 1957. According to forecasters, in the second month of autumn 2026, the average monthly air temperature exceeded the climate norm by 2.38°C. Moreover, positive anomalies were observed throughout Kazakhstan. In most of the country, the temperature spike was 1.5–3.0°C. However, the highest temperature anomaly was recorded in Petropavlovsk.
