In Baikonur, a man without a permanent job or property has been held administratively liable for evading alimony payments. His debt to his minor children exceeded 5 million tenge, reports infohub.kz.
According to the official Telegram channel of the courts of Kyzylorda region, the Baikonur city court considered an administrative case against the citizen under Part 1 of Article 669 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the case materials, based on a court order, the man was obliged to pay alimony for the maintenance of his minor children. However, knowing the requirements of the executive document, he evaded fulfilling his obligations.
As of today, the amount of debt has reached 5,029,720 tenge. It was established that the violator has no permanent place of work, income, or any property registered in his name.
During the court hearing, he explained that he could not fulfill his obligations due to lack of permanent work and assured that he would pay off the debt in the future.
By the court's ruling, the man was found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 1 of Article 669 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and he was sentenced to administrative arrest for 3 days.
