Bank RBK has been named a laureate of the ninth international Employer Brand Award (EMBRAS 2026), taking the prize in the "Culture of Success: The Internal Cultural Code" category. The jury praised the bank's approach to building a corporate culture in which shared values unite the team and help it reach common goals, infohub.kz reports.
EMBRAS is an international professional platform in the field of employer branding that brings together companies, HR experts and specialists in talent management and communications. In 2026, 80 projects from 5 countries across Central Asia, the CIS and Europe were submitted for the award. They were assessed by an international jury of 29 experts representing 25 countries.
For Bank RBK, corporate culture is not only about principles and traditions but also about how the team works every day: taking responsibility, supporting colleagues, proposing new solutions and tackling difficult tasks together. It is from these everyday actions that an atmosphere takes shape in which employees can unlock their potential and feel part of a common cause.
Internal communications play an important role in this: they help unite employees around shared goals, sustain dialogue and make the bank's values part of everyday work.
"A strong corporate culture starts with people. You can formulate the most correct values, but they only become real when employees share them and put them into practice in their work. For us, it is important that every person at Bank RBK understands what we work for, feels involved in the common result and sees opportunities for their own development. I am convinced that it is the team that determines how far a company can go. When people are united by common principles, mutual respect and a desire to achieve more, corporate culture becomes a real force for the business," said Natalya Akentyeva, chair of the management board of Bank RBK.
Interestingly, in 2026 the EMBRAS organizers expanded three areas of the award, including the "Culture of Success" category. This reflects changes in the HR industry: corporate culture today is viewed in conjunction with leadership, employee engagement and the company's long-term results.
For Bank RBK, corporate culture is not a separate area of work but part of a shared forward movement. After all, behind every business result are people, their ideas, their energy and their ability to act as one team.
