Kazakhstan's Barys Astana secured a convincing road win over Dynamo Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League regular season, infohub.kz reports.
The game took place at VTB Arena named after Arkady Chernyshev in Moscow and ended 4-1 in favor of the visitors.
American forward Garrett Pilon was the star of the match, scoring twice — in the 23rd and 34th minutes. Canadian defenseman Jake Massie added another goal in the 46th minute. American forward Justin Bailey sealed the win in the 59th minute, scoring into an empty net.
Russian forward Nikita Korostelyov scored the hosts' only goal in the 28th minute on the power play.
For Barys, this was their second consecutive victory. The Astana team has ten points and sits third in the Eastern Conference, behind only Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Ak Bars Kazan, who each have 11 points.
Dynamo Moscow suffered its second straight defeat. With eight points, the team is sixth in the Western Conference.
