Producer Bayan Alaguzova fulfilled her promise and gifted Kazakh national artist Meruert Utekeshova an apartment in Almaty. She captured the key handover and the actress's reaction on video and posted it on Instagram, reports infohub.kz.
Before the meeting, Alaguzova said she had promised to make this gift about two and a half months ago. She showed the fully ready-to-move-in apartment, noting that she personally designed the interior. The home is fully furnished and equipped with everything needed: a spacious living room, a kitchen with appliances, an insulated balcony, a bedroom, a guest room, and a walk-in closet. A painting by artist Botagoz Akonayeva was specially commissioned for the interior, taking two months to complete.
“The design is entirely mine. Nothing irritating, everything calm, a crystal chandelier, as you like. I wanted to make it cozy for you,” Bayan Alaguzova said while showing the apartment. She also admitted that while decorating, she imagined her own mother and tried to create a warm, homely atmosphere with bright accents to lift the mood.
The surprises didn't end there. Along with the apartment keys, Alaguzova gave the actress a two-person trip to Turkey — a ten-day all-inclusive stay at a five-star hotel. “You deserve this. You are a national artist! You should have only the best,” the producer said. An emotional Meruert Utekeshova admitted she had never been to Turkey before. “I want to cry... I have no words,” the actress said. “Words aren't needed, your smile is what matters,” Bayan Alaguzova replied.
Earlier, in an interview with journalist Maya Bekbayeva, Utekeshova confessed that she still lived in rented housing. After that, producer Bayan Alaguzova decided to give her an apartment in Almaty. In addition, she presented the star of the film “Kyz Zhibek” with a fur coat and custom-designed diamond earrings, and also promised to pay the actress a lifelong pension of one million tenge.
