Prominent Kazakh producer Bayan Alaguzova has voiced outrage over the fact that the group KeshYOU was not allowed to use fireworks at their concert at the stadium in Almaty, while Kanye West was permitted to do so for his performance, reports infohub.kz.

As a reminder, on August 15, Kanye West's concert took place at the Central Stadium in Almaty, which listeners could only attend on the second attempt. The show lasted about two hours and amazed city residents with special effects, fireworks, and laser beams.

Soon after, Bayan Alaguzova published a post on Threads expressing bewilderment that YE was allowed fireworks, while her group KeshYOU was not permitted to do the same during their concert at the same venue.

"I remember, at the KeshYOU concert at the stadium, we asked for fireworks, we really asked, but they categorically refused. It's so strange and offensive that for our own people—sorry, you're ours, you can't. But for Kanye it's allowed... So, everyone is equal before the law, but some are more equal??? Considering that we actually put on a world-class show, while Kanye just walked around on a sphere and didn't really exert himself," the producer wrote.

Her post instantly became a hot topic in Kazakh social media. Many Kazakhs criticized Alaguzova for such words about the rapper, and some users stated that one cannot compare artists of Kanye West's caliber with the group KeshYOU.

Later, the producer responded to the criticism: "Well, that's why I wrote for the first time, not about gossip, but about inequality. But everyone found out—ours get the shaft, outsiders get the green light. And yes, judging by the feed, there's plenty of gossip, I don't take back my words, as always!"

Soon she herself suggested ending the discussion: "I'm done! I'm tired of arguing. Kanye is super, he didn't walk, he flew! We don't need fireworks, we're second-class—that, judging by the feed, is what the majority has acknowledged. Bravo!!! I'm in France, I'll rest a bit and start working on the second concert of my 'second-class' artists, naturally without fireworks. I'll wait for you in Astana, tickets will be much cheaper, because we're our own! Those who doubt our professionalism, please don't come, for you it will be total crap and another laughingstock. Keep trampling your own," the producer concluded.
