Bayern Munich opened the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League season with a commanding home win over Norway's Bodo/Glimt, as the first-round match of the main European club competition's league phase at the Allianz Arena in Munich ended 5-0 in favor of the hosts, according to infohub.kz.
German midfielder Jamal Musiala broke the deadlock in the 47th minute. In the 61st minute, English striker Harry Kane doubled the hosts' lead, and in the 77th minute, Canadian defender Alphonso Davies got on the scoresheet. French forward Michael Olise completed the rout with a brace, scoring in the 83rd minute and in stoppage time (90+2).
The visitors finished the match a man down: Norwegian defender Odin Bjortuft was shown a straight red card in the 88th minute.
With the win, Bayern earned three points after the first round and took second place in the Champions League table. Only French side Paris Saint-Germain ranked higher on additional tiebreakers.
