The creators of four films about The Beatles have recreated one of the most recognizable images in music history. Actors portraying the legendary band members walked across the famous crosswalk near Abbey Road Studios in London, replicating the composition of the iconic photograph, according to infohub.kz.

Footage from the shoot appeared on social media over the weekend. It shows the actors playing John Lennon, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison lining up at the crosswalk and crossing the road one by one, exactly mirroring the musicians' positions in the famous shot.

Harris Dickinson plays John Lennon, Barry Keoghan takes on Ringo Starr, Paul Mescal portrays Paul McCartney, and Joseph Quinn plays George Harrison. In the same order as the original band members, the actors walked across the crosswalk, creating a live reenactment of the Abbey Road album cover.

The original photograph was taken on August 8, 1969, outside Abbey Road Studios. Photographer Iain Macmillan had only a few minutes to capture the shot. He took six photos from a stepladder placed in the middle of the road, and one of them became the album cover.

Initially, the photo shoot was planned for Nepal, but the idea was abandoned in favor of shooting near the studio where The Beatles recorded their album.

The new project about the legendary British band is directed by Sam Mendes. Instead of one film, he is making four movies, each dedicated to one member of The Beatles. The premiere of the project about the "Fab Four" is scheduled for spring 2028.

Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that the first images from the Beatles biopic were shown on postcards.
