Former Miss Switzerland and model Beatrice Keul has accused US President Donald Trump of rape. Her statement was included in a report by US Democrats on the White House chief's ties to financier Jeffrey Epstein, infohub.kz reports.
According to NUR.KZ, citing Gazeta.ru, Keul told the US Senate Judiciary Committee that she was allegedly raped by Trump at the age of 24. The incident, she said, took place in a room at the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.
The model claims Trump promised to arrange a US visa for her and secure her admission to New York University through his friend Paolo Zampolli. Later, according to Keul, the businessman grabbed her from behind and raped her. She was left with bruises and contusions after the incident. Trump, she alleges, promised to arrange the visa and the university admission if she stayed silent about what happened.
At the same event, Keul also spoke with Epstein, who she said claimed he had organized "many parties with Don."
It is noted that after returning to Switzerland, Keul declined to take part in another beauty pageant in Hawaii sponsored by Trump, which was held several weeks after the rape.
