Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov chaired a meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on implementing the constitutional principle "Law and Order," the website infohub.kz reports.
"The principle of 'Law and Order' is one of the fundamental principles of our state, enshrined at the highest constitutional level. As the president has repeatedly emphasized, a true patriot is above all a hardworking, educated person who obeys the law, maintains order, values cleanliness and treats nature with care. That is why we must all recognize, advocate and promote precisely these values. Without upholding the rule of law, it is impossible to achieve the country's economic, social, political and other goals," Olzhas Bektenov said.
The 'Law and Order' principle is aimed at strengthening legality and public safety, and the interdepartmental commission is tasked with ensuring coordination among government bodies in crime prevention.
The meeting reviewed progress in implementing the concept for promoting the ideology of 'Law and Order' in society, as well as measures to prevent offenses.
