Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov gave a number of instructions to heads of ministries and akims at a government meeting, emphasizing their personal responsibility, reports the website infohub.kz.

He reminded that the implementation of the National Project is under the personal supervision of the president.

The first instruction concerns the timely signing of contracts and securing funding in the regions. Bektenov ordered akimats to take measures on this year's projects within two weeks, and together with the ministries of industry and construction, energy, and national economy, to ensure the completion of all planned repair campaigns by the end of the year. Regional akims bear personal responsibility for this. The Ministry of Industry and Construction was instructed to speed up state expertise of design and estimate documentation for infrastructure projects.

The second instruction: ministries must accelerate work on concluding potential offtake contracts for creating new and expanding existing productions by September 1.

Third: digital tools in the energy and utility sectors. The Ministries of Industry and Energy were instructed to speed up the implementation of the unified digital platform Smart Turmys. By September 1, unified standards for utility metering devices and software with division into consumer groups must be adopted.

Baiterek Holding was instructed to ensure immediate financing of all projects declared until the end of this year by September 1.

All regional akimats were ordered by the prime minister to submit relevant applications for 2027 projects to the National Project's electronic platform (MECS) by September 1 and ensure their approval with interested parties.
