A blogger under the nickname bitbumm_a continues an unusual experiment started back in October 2017. At that time, he bought a Big Mac at McDonald's, covered it with a glass lid, and since then has annually shown subscribers how the burger changes. Details are reported by the website infohub.kz.

In a new video published in August 2026, the author conducted a traditional "annual check-up." He lifted the top bun, inspected the patties, and showed that almost nothing has changed over the past year. According to the blogger, the sesame seeds are covered in dust, and the mold on the bottom part of the burger is no longer spreading.

The Big Mac is now almost 10 years old. If the experiment continues, next year the unusual exhibit will mark its tenth anniversary.

In the comments, users did not miss the opportunity to joke about the experiment.

"They knew how to make them back then," "The mold couldn't handle this monster," "Soon it will go to fourth grade," "I feel like one day he'll crack and eat it," "Put it up for auction!" "How time flies, soon it'll go to college," "This is what grows COVID," users write in the comments.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that McDonald's in Germany found an unusual way to promote its McDelivery service. The banners were placed so that they would appear in the frame of traffic cameras along with cars of traffic violators.
