The National Security Committee of Kazakhstan has intensified its fight against illegal fuel trafficking. The Border Service of the NSC continues its efforts to prevent the illegal movement of petroleum products across the state border. Between July 1 and July 21, 2026, 1,342 attempts to illegally export fuels and lubricants were detected at checkpoints, reports the website infohub.kz.

The total volume of seized petroleum products exceeded 112 tonnes.

Individuals involved in the violations have been held accountable in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
