According to her, not only a Pepsi bottle but also a metal object that could pose a danger to people was thrown from a vehicle traveling in the same direction.

A NUR.KZ correspondent requested comment from the Karaganda region police department. The department said a 24-year-old man had contacted police, reporting that the windshield of his Kia had been damaged on the road between Balkhash and Priozersk.

"According to the complainant, while he was driving, a bottle was thrown from the window of a Lada Priora traveling in the same direction, struck his vehicle's windshield and damaged it. Police have registered the incident. During the measures carried out, the driver of the Lada Priora was identified as a 34-year-old resident of Balkhash," the statement said.

The man gave his account of what happened, suggesting the object may have flown out from under a car's wheel. He denies throwing any objects from the window.
