The publication of a scandalous video in the Bozjyra tract has led to an official investigation: the police department of the Mangystau Region has identified the foreign woman who urinated on camera and has forwarded the materials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reports infohub.kz.
Footage featuring a Canadian video blogger under the nickname Olessia Pliousnina had earlier appeared on social media. In it, the woman urinates in the Bozjyra tract in the Mangystau Region. The original Instagram post is currently unavailable, and the video from her page was shared by the Telegram channel Halyqstan.
The police department of the Mangystau Region said the video was discovered on social media. Law enforcement identified the foreign national and classified her actions as petty hooliganism.
"Police officers have identified the foreign national who committed this offense. During the check, it was established that the video materials were published by her after she left the territory of Kazakhstan. For the offense committed, the materials on this fact have been sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for further forwarding to the relevant diplomatic mission," the statement says.
Incidentally, according to police, the social media account from which the posts were made has now been deleted and is unavailable.
"The police department of the Mangystau Region reminds of the need for strict compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Any violation of public order entails liability," the department added.
