The legal conflict between Hollywood stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over the French estate Château Miraval is intensifying. The actor has demanded that his ex-wife provide film contracts and income documents for the period from 2017 to 2021, according to infohub.kz.
Pitt claims this information will help verify the truthfulness of Jolie's statements about the reasons for selling her stake in the business to Stoli Group. Jolie's lawyers, in turn, say the actress has already provided financial reports as part of the divorce proceedings and accuse her ex-husband of attempting to violate her privacy.
The actress's side insists that the decision to sell her share in the winery was driven by a desire to completely separate financial assets from Pitt, not by a lack of funds. Pitt himself believes the sale was made without his consent, in violation of prior agreements. The litigation is ongoing.
