In Almaty, bystanders captured a mass brawl on video and posted it on social media. Police promptly identified all participants and held them accountable, reports infohub.kz.
The day before, the Instagram account almatinec_live posted information about a fight near the residential complex "Teremki". Witnesses also published a video of the incident. The post claimed that four young men attacked two, and one of the victims lost consciousness.
The press service of the Almaty Police Department clarified that five men were involved in the night conflict that occurred on August 4 at about 03:50. "Five men who knew each other, while in a public place, during a verbal conflict loudly used profanity, disturbing residents' peace. All participants were identified and held accountable. Two of them were fined for appearing in a public place while intoxicated. Administrative materials on petty hooliganism were collected against all five and sent to court for a procedural decision," the department noted.
The police remind that any violation of public order, especially in residential areas and at night, receives a principled legal assessment.
