A London resident, Colby Bull, has set a world record by opening seven packs of collectible cards in just 60 seconds while in mid-flight, the website infohub.kz reports.

Guinness World Records experts verified the feat, UPI reports. The founder of Edition One, a company dealing in rare collectibles, attempted the extreme stunt on October 13 at Headcorn Aerodrome in Kent.

Bull was securely strapped to the upper wing of a biplane with safety harnesses. Once the aircraft was airborne, the collector had to open the cards at high speed and in strong winds while staying within a strict one-minute limit.

According to the Briton, every collector knows the thrill of opening rare packs, so he wanted to experience those emotions amid an adrenaline rush. The biggest challenges were powerful gusts of wind and the cold: his hands went almost completely numb in the freezing air, and the oncoming airflow literally tore the packs from his fingers.

Despite the extreme conditions and limited time, the Londoner managed to stay focused and open all seven packs before landing. After reviewing the video footage and confirming that all conditions had been met, the experts officially registered the achievement as a new world record.
