The pets from Reading have shown outstanding abilities: they have mastered over three hundred different commands and tricks. Their owner, Olga Jones, started training them from puppyhood using play-based methods, which allowed the animals to achieve such impressive results.
During their "sporting career," Bonnie and Simba have set numerous world records. Among them is the record for the fastest time to complete ten side-by-side leapfrog jumps, which they did in 16.78 seconds. Border collie Simba has repeatedly broken personal records: he untied 11 ribbon bows in one minute, dropped 16 chips into the board game Connect 4, tossed 13 coins into a bottle, and threw 26 plastic bottles into a recycling bin. Additionally, Simba learned to hang laundry on a drying rack in record time.
Ahead of the FIFA World Cup, the dogs also showed their skills on the sports field. Simba scored 12 football goals in one minute, while Bonnie sent 5 balls into the net in 30 seconds. Olga Jones emphasizes that regular training helps develop the animals' intelligence, and the records themselves serve as a positive example for others.
