A British woman named Patti Ellen says she saw the afterlife after experiencing clinical death during an emergency cesarean section, reports infohub.kz.
After her vital functions ceased, Ellen said she found herself in another dimension where a panoramic 360-degree screen appeared, displaying the most significant moments of her life one after another.
She noted that the most painful and difficult memories lingered longest, giving her the sensation of being in hell and condemned to stay there forever.
The experience ended when she heard her newborn baby's first cry. At that moment, she regained consciousness and returned to life.
Doctors note that such experiences are common among people who have undergone clinical death. However, there is no scientific evidence that they indicate an afterlife. Most researchers attribute the phenomenon to brain activity during severe oxygen deprivation.
