British wrestler PAC dies at 40 after Chicago show

British wrestler Benjamin Satterley, known as PAC, has died at the age of 40, hours after performing at a show in Chicago, infohub.kz reports.

Shortly before his death, the athlete wrestled Andrade El Idolo for an AEW championship title. After losing, PAC shook his opponent's hand and later appeared again on the show during the evening's main event.

Hours later, All Elite Wrestling announced his death. "All Elite Wrestling is saddened to learn of the passing of Benjamin Satterley, known as PAC," the organization said in a statement.

The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Satterley began his career in 2004 and performed in the UK, the US, Japan and Mexico. From 2012 to 2018 he also wrestled for WWE under the name Neville.

He had wrestled for AEW since 2019 and won several championship titles. He was also known for his acrobatic style and earned the nickname "The Man That Gravity Forgot."
