Kazakhstanis have been informed about the installation of 360-degree cameras in one of the country's most beautiful places — Burabay National Park. Rotating video cameras will appear at seven popular tourist locations, reports infohub.kz.
According to the park's press service, an automated monitoring system will be introduced to control visitor numbers in tourist zones. It will cover the observation deck on Mount Bolektau, the Valley of Love area, the Ayutas rocks, the Slipper and Maksimka rocks, as well as the Peresheyek and Imanayevsky Creek sites.
Park officials explained that the new system will not only enhance visitor safety but also provide objective data on trail attendance. Additionally, it will strengthen compliance with environmental legislation and offer extra protection for natural resources.
The rotating cameras will provide a full 360-degree view, 25x optical zoom, and night vision capability thanks to infrared illumination with a range of at least 150 meters. The cameras will also feature video analytics, and all footage from the observation points will be transmitted in real time to the Operational Management Center.
