Just days after a hefty fine was issued for restricting access to the shore, another scandal has erupted in Burabay. A video has surfaced on social media showing a recreation area employee blocking a man from reaching the lake, reports infohub.kz.

The footage was posted by the gosrating page on Threads. In the clip, a visitor is seen trying to reach the shore, but his path is blocked.

The authors of the post claim this is the same recreation area whose administrator was recently punished for violating public water use rules.

"This fact has been registered with the Burabay District Police Department. For violating public water use rules, the beach administrator has been brought to administrative responsibility. A preventive conversation was held with him about the need to comply with current legislation," the Akmola Regional Police Department reported.

The police did not specify whether the comment refers to the new incident or a previously reviewed case.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that in the Akmola region, an administrator of a paid beach was fined for illegally charging a fee for access to the lake. After lawyer Vadim Kuramshin filed a complaint, police brought him to administrative responsibility for violating public water use rules.
