In the third round of the English Championship, Burnley suffered a heavy 1:4 away defeat to Norwich City. Kazakh striker Dastan Satpayev made his first start for his team and played the full 90 minutes, reports infohub.kz.

The match took place on August 29. By the 21st minute, the hosts were leading 3:0: Mohamed Toure scored a brace, and Andre Brooks added another goal. In the 27th minute, Josh Laurent pulled one back for Burnley, but after the break Brooks scored his second to make it 4:1.

The 18-year-old Satpayev, on loan from Chelsea, had three shots, one on target, completed one successful dribble, and won several duels, but did not register a goal or assist. This was his first start and his first full match for Burnley in the Championship since joining on loan from the London club.

After three rounds, Burnley sit 22nd in the table, in the relegation zone. The team has only one point, no wins, and a goal difference of 4:9. Only Preston North End and Stoke City are below, with no points yet.
