In the third round of the Championship 2026/27 season, Burnley suffered a heavy away defeat to Norwich City with a score of 1:4, reports the website infohub.kz.

The match took place at Carrow Road in Norwich. For the hosts, Australian striker Mohamed Toure (2nd and 21st minutes) and English midfielder Andre Brooks (5th and 67th) each scored a brace. The only goal for the visitors came from English midfielder Josh Laurent (27th), who was sent off in the second half for a second yellow card (78th).

Kazakhstan national team forward Dastan Satpayev made his first start for Burnley in the Championship. The 18-year-old played the entire match, taking three shots on goal with a pass accuracy of 75% (24 accurate out of 32). Satpayev led the team in touches in the opponent's penalty area (eight) and in dribbling quality (five successful attempts out of eleven).

The Clarets suffered their third consecutive defeat in all competitions, two of which came in the Championship.
