In the Aktobe region, rescuers evacuated 90 passengers from a broken-down bus, including foreigners and children, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on a national highway in the Aiteke Bi district. The bus was traveling on the Shymkent–Perm route. Due to a technical malfunction, 90 people, including 46 children, were evacuated to safety. Among the passengers were citizens of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Russia.
Emergency response involved the Department for Emergency Situations and the Karabutak interdepartmental rescue service. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, no injuries were reported. The passengers were taken to a camping site, where they are housed in safe conditions and provided with everything necessary while awaiting onward travel.
