A solemn oath-taking ceremony for first-year cadets of the M. Yesbolatov Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took place in Almaty. This year, more than 300 cadets enrolled at the departmental institution, for whom the oath marked an important milestone at the start of their professional path and preparation for service in internal affairs bodies, infohub.kz reports.

The ceremony was attended by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the full membership of the Council of Generals, veterans of law enforcement agencies, the leadership and personnel of the Academy, as well as the parents and relatives of the cadets.

Before taking the oath, the cadets underwent several weeks of field training. During this time, they adapted to the daily routine and completed drill and physical training, as well as classes in tactics and other areas. The field training marked the initial stage of their preparation for further study at the departmental institution.

During the ceremony, the cadets solemnly swore to be loyal to the Republic of Kazakhstan, to abide by the Constitution and legislation, to protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, and to honorably perform the duties of an internal affairs officer.

Veterans of the law enforcement system and the Academy's leadership addressed the cadets with words of guidance. They congratulated them on taking the oath and emphasized the particular responsibility that the chosen profession entails.

"Today you have passed an important stage on the path to service in internal affairs bodies. The oath is not just solemn words, but a commitment that must be confirmed by your actions, discipline, knowledge and a responsible attitude to service," said Colonel of Police Kalizhan Koblandin, head of the Interior Ministry Academy.

This day was also of special significance for the parents and relatives of the cadets, who witnessed them taking the oath and shared this important moment with them.

Ahead of the cadets lie years of study, professional training and the acquisition of the knowledge and skills needed for further service in internal affairs bodies. Taking the oath became an important milestone in their professional development and the start of a new stage in their preparation for service in the ranks of internal affairs bodies.
