Actress and model Carmen Electra is ready to reprise her role as Lani McKenzie in the new 'Baywatch' series, but she flatly refuses to go into the water during filming, reports infohub.kz.

The star of the cult 1990s series 'Baywatch' commented on rumors of her involvement in the upcoming reboot from Fox. The actress stated that she is already in talks with the show's creators and would gladly return to the role of Lani McKenzie, but with one important condition.

The 54-year-old celebrity is adamantly against filming in the ocean again. According to her, her love for the sea does not negate the fact that working in open water is extremely difficult, uncomfortable, and requires enormous physical effort. Electra recalled that during the original filming, actors had to perform dangerous stunts and constantly freeze.

However, the actress assured fans that she would happily reprise the famous slow-motion run along the beach. She noted that the iconic red swimsuit still fits her perfectly. As an ideal compromise, Carmen suggested making her character the captain of the lifeguard service, so she could lead the team from headquarters without having to dive into the water.
