Part of the ceiling collapsed on the third floor of the Nurly Zhol railway station in Astana, reports infohub.kz.

Online publication Syrmedia.kz released a video showing the incident. The footage shows part of the ceiling lying on the floor near one of the station's panoramic windows.

A correspondent contacted the press service of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ) for comment. The service confirmed that on the previous day at 19:45, a partial ceiling collapse occurred on the third floor of the Nurly Zhol station complex.

"Station workers inspected the damaged area and found a damaged connection in the storm sewer system. Repairs have been completed, including sealing joints and restoring pipe connections. The affected area has been cleaned and washed, and debris removed," the press service said.
