General Brad Cooper, head of US Central Command (CENTCOM), believes it is necessary to resume joint attacks with Israel on Iran, reports infohub.kz.
The American military commander voiced his position during a recent visit to Israel, where he met with the top brass of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This was reported by Israel's Channel 13.
Cooper conveyed to his Israeli counterparts a call to resume strikes on Iranian infrastructure, including gas, oil, and electricity facilities.
"An attack on Iran's infrastructure will change the rules of the game and will be very painful for the Iranians, and in the current situation they will not change their position," the TV channel quoted Cooper as saying.
The CENTCOM chief also told Israeli military leaders that the US may have no choice but to resume military action against Iran, and that such efforts would require the help of the Jewish state.
Earlier, a representative of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that Iran is considering dragging out a military conflict with the US for another three years.
