The qualifying rounds of the UEFA Champions League 2026/27 season have concluded. The league stage will feature 36 teams, according to infohub.kz.
The only Kazakh representative in the main European club competition was Kairat. The Almaty club passed two qualifying rounds but were eliminated in the third. In total, the qualification consisted of four rounds.
Next, the 36 teams will each play four home and four away matches in the league stage. The draw will take place on August 27. The teams will be divided into four pots:
PSG (France), Bayern Munich (Germany), Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid (all Spain), Inter Milan (Italy), Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal (all England).
Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Roma (Italy), Porto, Sporting (both Portugal), Club Brugge (Belgium), Aston Villa, Manchester United (both England), Real Betis (Spain), PSV (Netherlands).
Feyenoord (Netherlands), Bodø/Glimt (Norway), Lille (France), Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe (both Turkey), Villarreal (Spain), Napoli (Italy), RB Leipzig (Germany), Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine).
Slavia Prague (Czech Republic), Slovan Bratislava (Slovakia), Stuttgart (Germany), Sabah (Azerbaijan), Viking (Norway), AEK Athens (Greece), LASK (Austria), Como (Italy), Lens (France).
Each team will face two opponents from each pot. After the draw, the match schedule will be determined.
