Chinese automaker Chery has unveiled the updated Arrizo 8 Pro sedan for the 2027 model year. The car features an expanded set of electronic assistants, a new multimedia system, and interior changes, according to infohub.kz.
In China, the model is available in five trim levels. With a temporary discount, prices range from 105,000 to 137,000 yuan, equivalent to roughly 7.3–9.5 million tenge.
Externally, the Arrizo 8 Pro stands out with an enlarged radiator grille, four-section S-shaped rear lights, four exhaust tips, red brake calipers, and new wheels. The sedan's dimensions remain unchanged: 4780 × 1843 × 1469 mm, with a wheelbase of 2790 mm.
Inside, there are fresh upholstery options, 256-color ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. Higher trims offer seats with ventilation, heating, and five massage modes. The Boya audio system boasts 14 speakers, some integrated into the headrests.
The main update is the Chery Falcon 500 system, available across all trims. The parking suite supports over 300 scenarios, including parallel, perpendicular, and diagonal parking. The car can also park remotely, reverse along a traveled route for up to 50 meters, and automatically park along a saved route of up to 2 kilometers.
For versions with the 2.0T engine, the High-speed NOA system is available. It enables automatic following, lane changes, overtaking, and maneuvers when entering or exiting highways.
Buyers can choose between two turbocharged petrol engines from the Kunpeng Power family, paired with a 7-speed Magna wet dual-clutch automatic. The first is a 1.6 Turbo producing 197 hp and 310 Nm, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 7 seconds, with fuel consumption of 6.5 L/100 km. The second is a 2.0 Turbo with 251 hp and 390 Nm, sprinting to 100 km/h in 6 seconds, and consuming 6.8 L/100 km. The front suspension is McPherson, while the rear is independent multi-link.
According to Chery, monthly sales of the series have exceeded 10,000 units for 16 consecutive months. Cumulative sales over 38 months have surpassed 450,000 cars.
