In July, Chinese automakers unveiled several major new models, from the updated Tank 300 to the fresh flagship Haval H10 and the electric BYD Seal 08. Some of these models could appear in Kazakhstan within the next year or two, reports infohub.kz.

The updated Tank 300 SUV features a more aggressive design, petrol and diesel engines, and a hybrid version, the Tank 300L, with up to 864 hp. This model is considered one of the most likely candidates for an official launch in Kazakhstan.

The new flagship of the Ocean line, the BYD Seal 08, is equipped with an 800-volt architecture, a range of up to 905 km, and a hybrid version capable of covering up to 1,660 km without refueling.

The most affordable Li Auto crossover, the Li L6, which is planned for assembly in Kazakhstan, has been updated both externally and technically. Its electric range has grown to 300 km, and total driving range now reaches 1,250 km.

The new full-size hybrid SUV Haval H10 has become the brand's flagship. It delivers nearly 600 hp, can travel over 220 km on electric power alone, and features a lidar with advanced driver assistance systems.

The Jetour Zongheng F700, a frame-based hybrid pickup, is the first cargo model of the new Zongheng family. Its powertrain produces 904 hp, and most vehicle functions are controlled by artificial intelligence.

The new version of the Beijing Taitan 700 (formerly BJ60) features a series hybrid system, up to 220 km of electric range, and a modern suite of electronic assistants. It was previously reported that BAIC (Beijing) is actively expanding its presence in Kazakhstan.

The electric sedan Geely Galaxy TT Ultra is already being called a rival to the Xiaomi SU7. The new Geely features all-wheel drive, 578 hp, a 0-100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds, and an 800-volt fast-charging system.

The Lynk & Co 07 GT, a rare hybrid station wagon for China, can travel up to 200 km without starting its petrol engine, with a total range exceeding 1,400 km. In July, Lynk & Co opened its first official mono-brand showroom in Kazakhstan.

The fifth generation of the popular GAC GS4 crossover has moved to a new platform while retaining a traditional petrol engine. In Kazakhstan, the previous-generation GAC GS4 MAX is already officially sold from 11 million tenge, so the arrival of the new model seems quite likely. In the future, the brand's cars could also become more affordable thanks to local production.

The first crossover from Xiaomi's new sub-brand, the Skynomad N70 and N90, launched in two sizes. Hybrid versions can travel up to 505 km on electric power, one of the highest figures in this class.

The review's authors believe that the Tank 300, Haval H10, BYD Seal 08, Li L6, and some Geely and GAC models have the best chances of officially appearing on the Kazakh market. Other new models are still aimed at the Chinese market, but some versions may reach the country via parallel imports before official deliveries.
