China has never interfered in US elections, the Chinese embassy in Washington said in response to allegations by Donald Trump during his address to the nation, according to infohub.kz.
The embassy issued a statement: "China consistently adheres to the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries. US elections are an internal affair of the United States. Their outcome is determined by the votes of the American people. China has never and will never interfere in US presidential elections," the embassy said.
Earlier, Trump accused China of the largest compromise of electoral data in history, dating back to 2020. The US president also called Russia, China, North Korea and Iran a threat to the US electoral system.
