Legendary 1990s supermodel Christy Turlington has returned to the spotlight as the face of Giorgio Armani's new campaign for the fall/winter 2026/2027 season. The comeback is symbolic: it marks a new era for the fashion house, which presents its first collection since the transition of leadership to Silvana Armani and Leo Dell'Orco, reports infohub.kz.

Turlington rose to fame in the 1990s, when a handful of models became true global stars. Alongside Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, and Cindy Crawford, she was part of a generation of supermodels whose faces were known far beyond the fashion industry.

Her history with Giorgio Armani is long-standing. In the 1990s, Turlington regularly walked in the brand's shows, and now, decades later, she appears in its advertising campaign once again. This time, she fronts the first Armani collection since the management transition to Silvana Armani and Leo Dell'Orco.

The shoot is quintessentially Armani. Turlington poses in a long dark coat with white trousers, a green leather trench with a sculptural collar, and a soft gray knit look with a narrow burgundy belt. Instead of flashy details, Armani focuses on textures, relaxed silhouettes, and muted tones.

Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Giorgio Armani left two secret wills before his death. The legendary Italian designer approached the matter with utmost care. Both documents were handwritten and sealed.
