Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sharply criticized Washington's domestic and foreign policy, saying the country is no longer a serious player and merely creates problems on the international stage, the website infohub.kz reports.
According to Clinton, the US authorities have taken positions that are damaging relations with other nations. "Listen, right now we are not a serious country. We are a dangerous country. We create all kinds of problems. We take ridiculous positions on the world stage," she said.
Clinton, who once lost an election to Donald Trump, noted that the US has reached the point of picking conflicts with its best friends and neighbors. "And yet we give a pass to those who wish us harm. I mean, we are not a serious country and we don't have serious leadership," she added.
Her remarks came amid a marked surge in activity by the Democratic Party's "elite" and "retirees" ahead of the midterm congressional elections. Days ago, Kamala Harris was hauled out of the "dusty closet" to criticize Trump and Republicans against the backdrop of a gas station sign showing new fuel prices. According to her, because of the war unleashed by Trump, Americans are paying 15 dollars more for every fill-up.
